#ageing, #regenerative-medicine, #stem-cell

Does Aubrey de Grey ring a bell to you? I remember him sometime Y2001, when I become a weekend reader of journals.

Mr. De Grey is an English scientist who predicts that one day science will offer us up to 1,000 years lifetime extension; and that molecular biology has placed a cure for aging. He is known for his view that medical technology may enable human beings not to die from age related causes. Wow!

I’m 68 years old last April 22, and honestly during my 30’s when I’m explosively “alive” this anti-aging option(s) have been in my brain for quite awhile. However, I forgot about it and find myself making the best of my life’s journey, in faith.

Mr. De Grey's research focuses on whether regenerative medicine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regenerative_medicine) can prevent the aging process.

Eventually, will we die after 1,000 years?

The issue of time without end, for me is the same, whether I live 68 years or 1,000. Aging may have stripped me progressively of my health, beauty, wealth, or everything – but where I’m nesting now (@geannhomegarden) with my ever-caring wife Mary Ann, I am left with more and more of my spiritual well-being & God.

My destiny is in God’s will and that will not fade away.

Cheers everyone! I’ll appreciate if you can share this blog to your friends on Facebook or Twitter.

Much love,
the Aging OFW
